The only down side is that this book only contains the one pattern which is a shame as I had hoped it would be longer.
The front cover does not do the quilt justice. If you have never made a quilt before the information will be very useful. For people who have made quilts it may inspire your next project. I liked the close up photos.
The quilt reminded me of one that I made when I first started. I haven't bought this book.
I am an experienced patchworker and I found this too simple but anyone wanting a book for inspiration, it would be good. Most of all it was free. As a person new to this type of sewing I found it intresting and simple to understand.
Will certainly be trying this out in dif. A great way to use scraps. Easy and quick for the time when you just want to cut and sew. As long as you know the basics of quilting you can follow this simple pattern. This would look good which ever type of fabric you choose. Lovely little booklet on kindle. The use of colour shades dark, light, etc very well explained. Anyone could understand it and become a quilter. I am very impressed with it. Ok if you just want an idea, but no good if you've never made a quilt and don't know how to go about making even this simple one.
